GENEVA ENGLISH DRAMA SOCIETYPlayreading 12 November 2002
CARD PLAY by David Foxton Card Play is a funny, truthful, fast-paced play, featuring characters associated with playing cards. But there the two-dimensional world ends, as each card has a distinct character of its own (moaning, caddish, funny) and the seniority very strictly depends on your face value. The most greedy and knavish of the cards hatch up a plan to steal the trophies and gate money from an event at the stadium. Their plan is overhead by some of the minor cards, who hasten to plot their downfall ... This reading will NOT take place at the English Church. It will be performed at the Aula at Collège Henri Dunant. See GEDS home page for details.
This slot has been allocated to give the younger members of GEDS an opportunity to be directly involved in GEDS' activities. |
