At a reunion of former "Follies" performers in a theatre about to be torn down, ex-showgirls, their escorts, and the impresario who brought them all together meet to "glamorize the old days, stumble through a song or two, and lie about ourselves a little." Over the course of many songs, dances, and drinks, two couples - friends (or more) from the old days - must come to terms with their marriages, their pasts, and the choices they've made in life. Woven throughout the party is a fabulous score rich with some of Sondheim's most famous numbers, a sparkling celebration of the best of Broadway.
